The Lutheran Acadedmy is a school where students never were left behind. It is important that each get as many benefits that the school has to offer.

Number One is knowing Jesus as Our Savior. The students hear what the Bible says about how to live every day. Teacher make the stories in the Bible come alive! It is actually fun to study the Bible. Students memorize Bible verses including the 10 Commandments. There is safety and comfort in knowing that God loves and cares for all people, especially those who love Him.

Families are invited often to participate and enjoy the many opportunities to socialize with others and help their child's school. There is a "family feel" to the school. Family Pizza Nights are scheduled during the school year so everyone can gather, eat pizza, and exchange information. Questions about students' classrooms, curriculum, procedures, or anything are invited.

Top quality teachers to teach the top quality education is necessary for our program. Pennsylvania certified teachers guide students to exceed the state and national standards. (See our Achievement Test Scores). At least six field trips per year in every class guarantee fun with learning.

With smaller class sizes (no more than 18 students to a classroom) teachers can have a real impact and spend quality time on students.
